About Kent

Kent Julian is a lot of things: a family man, a speaker, an entrepreneur, an author, a swim coach. In everything he does, his overarching theme is to lead by serving. That’s why he’s so committed to empowering teens to SHOW UP AND SHINE in their life and leadership as well.

Youth expert

Kent’s leadership background with students is extensive. Early in his career he led several youth programs including the largest of its kind in his state. He then served as the National Director of Alliance Youth, an organization that works with 2,000 youth groups across the country. Even his Master’s degree dissertation was on youth development and “how organizations can better equip the next generation for effective service and leadership.”

Yet Kent strives to be more than just another “youth expert.” He is personally committed to walk his talk and SHOW UP AND SHINE in the way he lives, works, and leads.

In-demand youth speaker

As a motivational youth speaker and leadership trainer, Kent speaks to thousands of students, advisors, and educators across the nation primarily through his partnerships with Career and Technology Student Organizations (CTSO) such as FBLA, FCCLA, DECA, HOSA, SkillsUSA, FFA, and others. He also serves the National Association of Student Councils (NASC), 4-H, and multiple school districts.

His programs inspire and equip audiences to SHOW UP AND SHINE in their life and leadership so that they can take 100 percent responsibility for their lives and live into their bigger stories.
